Meeting Marc Ellerby (And other artists)
I get like this before every expo/con that I know I’ll meet some of my favourite comic artists. I find Marc Ellerby especially difficult to talk to like a human being because he was the first person I discovered who really reinforced my wanting to be an illustrator in a time when I had no idea what I wanted to do. There’s also the fact I nearly went to the same university as him (I think anyways, based on one of his comics where he mentions the abbreviation) and that blew my mind. It’s just one of my dreams to be able to have my own stall in a con and maybe then I’ll feel like I’m worthy of talking to him like we’re at the same level.
